2013 Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year Shawna Wright leads this instruction program. Learn how to implement a solid foundation of both mental and physical mechanics to become a leader and dominant force behind the plate. From the catcher who is dawning the gear for the first time to the seasoned athlete this program will offer direct training to each player at her current skill level to help propel her to the next. The best catchers have the ability to catch day in and day out and be the iron horse behind the dish. Proper mechanics and catchers conditioning will help you become a durable catcher that your team can count on throughout the entire season.
This group is geared toward the athlete that wants to make the BIG difference in a game. All athletes have power potential, they just don’t know how to use it. Power Hitting U will help athletes take advantage of the power they have, and learn the proper techniques needed to drive the ball. Athletes will gain a better understanding of how to use their body efficiently, to maximize power.
Games are not won without dominant pitching. This program is designed to give athletes the knowledge and skill set to dominate in the circle. Laying the foundation of proper grip/spin, body positioning, and sequencing will take your game to the next level. Having command and accuracy are essential when competing at the highest level. Pitchers will mix speeds, change planes, and have a plan of attack to take their team to victory.
This group is geared toward players who want to help their team win championships. The player that wants to make 100% of routine plays AND make Sports Center top 10 style plays! The goal of our fielding program is to provide a weekly workout that will help players gain confidence in their defensive game. High reps will help players build muscle memory so they can play freely and without hesitation. Agility drills mixed in to each workout to improve foot work and increase range.
This program is for the player that wants to gain the extra inch over her competition. Our strength workouts focus on the pushing, pulling, squatting and hinging movements used in every position on the softball field. Through combining conditioning and agility, we help athletes improve endurance, move more efficiently, and become mentally tougher.
