HOW THE INDOOR SOFTBALL
LEAGUE WORKS
GET MATCHED, FAIRLY
Teams are evaluated in the first two weeks and matched against opponents at their actual level — not their self-reported classification.
Every team competes against a fair opponent every game. No mismatches. No dominant team running through the season unchallenged.
• FIRST TWO WEEKS: EVALUATIONPLAY REAL GAMES
Full games with lineups, umpires, and scoring. An instructor runs the game from the field, calling lineups and giving in-game feedback.
Athletes accumulate 30–50 at-bats per season facing live pitching and rotate through positions across games. The game moves fast enough that there’s no time to dwell on a bad at-bat or a missed play. Just the next pitch.
• 30–50 at-bats per seasonBUILD FOR SPRING
Concentrated indoor reps when outdoor practice isn’t possible. Athletes start the spring season already in rhythm.
Position rotation across the season builds defensive awareness beyond an athlete’s primary spot. Six-and-under divisions play a modified format; all other divisions play standard rules.

METHODOLOGY
OUR
METHOD:
R.E.I.
Athletes don’t get better by accident. They get better when three things line up: the right instructor, the right environment, and the right information — at the right time.
Relationship. Environment. Information.
RELATIONSHIP
HOVER FOR DETAIL
Athletes learn from people who’ve walked the same path. Small ratios (1:8), consistent coaching assignments, real mentorship.
ENVIRONMENT
HOVER FOR DETAIL
Athletes don’t fear failure. They fear judgment. Remove the judgment. What’s left is freedom to get better.
INFORMATION
HOVER FOR DETAIL
The right coaching at the right time. Age-appropriate, skill-appropriate, delivered when the athlete is ready.
OUR INSTRUCTORS
TAUGHT BY
THOSE WHO’VE
LIVED IT
Every instructor here played at the collegiate or professional level.
